Caroline Horner BCom, MBA, DProf

Dr Caroline Horner is an experienced coach who prior to starting her own coaching consultancy and the development of i-coach academy, had more than 12 years international experience as a general manager, consultant, marketing director and change agent in the technology, telecommunications and financial services sectors. Much of her experience had been working with organisations such as NatWest, Microsoft, Siemens Nixdorf, Tesco and Orange on projects that were breaking new ground and challenging personal, organisational and societal paradigms. Now with six years of experience in coaching, Caroline combines her broad understanding of business and organisational dynamics with extensive qualifications in coaching to work with individuals as they seek to enhance their capacity to learn and perform in their ever-changing environments and with organisations keen to maximise the benefits of learning interventions.
Caroline’s coaching experience focuses on working with those in transition, often leaders taking on more responsibility for delivering results through others or those managing significant change in their organisation and/or themselves. Caroline also supports individuals on a journey to find or regain meaning at work and frequently works with directors and senior business leaders in multi-national organisations and the civil service, as well as with entrepreneurs and managing directors of small to medium size enterprises.
In addition to her 1:1 coaching practice, Caroline facilitates post-graduate courses in coaching for academic institutions, the i-coach academy post-graduate programmes, as well as corporate leadership development programmes. Caroline also consults widely to business looking to introduce external coaches, develop and accredit internal coaches and build a coaching culture for the organisation.
Caroline holds a professional doctorate (DProf) in Coaching Psychology from the International Centre for the Study of Coaching at Middlesex University, UK and an MBA (Distinction) from Imperial College, London.
