Christa Swart MA

Christa Swart , a registered Industrial Psychologist, has been involved in change and transformation for over ten years, and is regarded as a specialist in this field. She has acted as coach to senior and executive management who, through various transformation initiatives, have been assigned to take on transformational leadership roles. Christa has been a key player in one of the most significant transformations in the South African financial industry through her work at ABSA. Leadership development is her passion, and working the evolving role of leaders in this new world of work is her forte. Christa believes that the core of leadership development today is based on increased self-awareness and her coaching approach is designed to enable this key component in leadership development. Thus, increased self-awareness leads to improved performance, stronger relationships, greater influence and greater ability to manage diversity and new insights into managing complexity. Christa is based in Johannesburg and is currently working towards a professional doctorate in coaching through the i-coach academy with the International Centre for the Study of Coaching at Middlesex University, UK.
