David Sonnenberg M.Sc. (Clin. Psych.)

David has a background both in clinical psychology and psychotherapy and over 15 years experience as an organisational consultant where he has specialised in the psychology of careers, workplace relationships and organisational change. David has been responsible for the training of many small businesses and training and enterprise agencies through his post at The Enterprise Partnership (UK). At T.E.P. Consulting (SA), David was instrumental in developing the South African consultancy and training services business which delivered supervision workshops for organisational change consultants, managers and government. He has worked for organisations such as Marks & Spencer, Unilever, Woolworths SA, IDASA, UCT Psychology Department, ISLA (Institute for the Study of Leadership and Authority) and KPMG Career Consultants, supporting them with assessment, selection and teambuilding. David has also practiced professionally both in the UK at The Tavistock Clinic and the Royal Free Hospital and, in South Africa, at the Groote Schuur Hospital and for the South African Department of Health. Apart from his consulting on issues of transformation in South Africa and his faculty role with the i-coach academy David is currently CEO of his own business, the Diemersfontein Wine and Country Estate in Wellington South Africa.

David holds a BA (Hons) and an M.Sc from the University of Cape Town, is registered with The Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (UK), The British Association of Psychotherapists and the S.A. Medical & Dental Council. He is also a Chartered Psychologist (UK).
