Q. I am not sure if I want a masters degree, can I sign up for the Masters in Professional Coaching and make the decision regarding the degree at a later date?
A. Yes, you can complete the Masters in Professional Coaching first and then decide to complete the masters degree. Fees are not static so we would need to calculate fees when you make decision to register for the degree from Middlesex University.
Q. Can I register now for the masters degree option, complete the recognition claim (if relevant) and professional module and then take a break before completing the research modules?
A. Yes, provided you have registered with the university from day one and paid your fees, you can take a break after completing the initial modules and return within 5 years to complete the research modules and complete your degree. There may be additional costs and requirements when you return from your break as the programme and fees are not static.
Q. Does i-coach academy provide a scholarship and how do I apply for it?
A. Yes. i-coach academy sponsors the van Oudtshoorn Scholarship which offers three individual (two Foundation student and one Certificate in Coaching Practice student) who would not otherwise be able to afford this programme, the opportunity to develop his or her skills in coaching and potentially begin a career path as a practitioner coach. Applicants are sought from a variety of fields where coaching plays a role, such as education, sports, government, NGOs as well as the business community. i-coach academy is also keen to work with those motivated to make an impact in the process of social transformation in South Africa.
