Elizabeth Crosse

Elizabeth has over 25 years of expertise in coaching and development in the UK and abroad and has been a pioneer in introducing internal coaching to the Civil Service. She started her career in scientific research and has worked in a number of academic and business environments. Her previous roles include co-founding a training and consultancy partnership that focused on developing leaders and managers in private and public sector companies and as a consultant to head up learning and development for the Bermudian Civil Service. She joined the UK Legal Services Commission in 2000 where she became Head of Learning and Development, a senior member of the HR team responsible for setting direction and delivering strategic Leadership Development, Talent Managing and Coaching solutions to create a high performance organisation. Over the last 10 years she has shared her experience with a number of public sector departments including the Ministry of Justice, Department of Health, Department for International Development and the BIG Lottery Fund to help establish coaching cultures and internal coaching programmes. She has trained over 2,000 managers and leaders in coaching skills resulting in improved personal and team effectiveness, greater staff engagement and a coaching approach to managing performance.

Her insight and compassion allow her to challenge with integrity, build trust and inspire individuals to achieve their ambitions and deliver excellence. Her approach is pragmatic, solution and future focused. The core of how she works is to enable clarity and awareness, helping individuals understand their natural strengths and talents so they can learn to integrate them in everything they do. Her aim is that clients build the self-knowledge and confidence to realise their potential and create sustainable results.

Elizabeth is a Fellow of the CIPD, holds a MEd in Education and MSc in Counselling Psychology and is a qualified NLP Certified Coach and Master Practitioner. She is one of the 1% of coaches in the world to attain the International Coach Federation (ICF) Master Certified Coach credential. She has full Level B certification by the British Psychological Society and is certified to use a number psychometric tools and profiling instruments including MBTI, 16PF, Hogan, WAVE, Talent Q and FIRO. Elizabeth is also an accredited coach supervisor. She abides by the ICF code of ethics and receives regular supervision for her coaching practice. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences on the subjects of coaching, leadership and talent development. Recent clients have included 10 Downing Street staff, the NHS, De Lange Laden, Housing Corporations, Royal Museums, BIG Lottery Fund and Pearson Publishing and several Government Departments.
