Roger practices as a leadership coach and his coaching focuses on the development of a new generation of leaders, able to innovate effectively amidst the challenges of the 21st century. Roger specialises in the design of organisational learning interventions that integrate team and individual coaching processes. In addition, he offers depth consulting, organisational peer coaching networks and HIV/AIDS-wellness programmes. Roger believes that coaching holds a vital role in accelerating the development of South Africa. In an attempt to consider ways of making coaching more accessible he conducted his masters research in peer coaching within South African organisations. He presented a paper on this research at the International Coach Federation’s Third International Research Symposium in California (USA) in 2005. Roger is a member of the i-coach academy faculty, and chairs the research committee of COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa). Roger has developed the well-regarded Diploma in Life Coaching programme at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP). His professional background is in empowerment programme management and design, tertiary education and entrepreneurial ventures. Roger holds a Masters Degree in Coaching from i-coach academy through Middlesex University (UK), an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Christian Studies. He is a Ph.D student at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business researching emergence in corporate sustainability.
